My work is guided by my infinite enthusiasm for exploration. Exploration can and should take many forms - from the random road trip to discovering your own Self. In my art, I'm particularly fascinated by the role physics plays in the way paint forms on the canvas, interacts with other paints and reacts when manipulated by anything from a brush to fingers.

Viva Laredo!

For my friends in Austin, my art is currently hosted in the corporate offices of Sicola-Martin, a leader in advertising targeting High Tech clients. They are part of Young and Rubicam, names I am proud to be associated with. It is a solo show with six pieces on display. I'll try and upload photos shortly. Go by and visit if you can - located on the 11th floor of the Omni Hotel Office building.

This next weekend, I'm boarding myself in a room at my parents house and cranking out around 12 new works for Laredo. I'm showing in the Laredo Center of Arts http://www.laredoartcenter.org/ in a two person exhibit. I will be the only 2D artist. The show is in June and July, so please come see me! The other artist is Tim Van Beke and his work can be viewed at www.studiohalstead.com.
