My work is guided by my infinite enthusiasm for exploration. Exploration can and should take many forms - from the random road trip to discovering your own Self. In my art, I'm particularly fascinated by the role physics plays in the way paint forms on the canvas, interacts with other paints and reacts when manipulated by anything from a brush to fingers.

Painting for Tampa Bay Bucaneers

This painting was done for fans and players of the Tampa Bay Bucs. Currently, it is hanging in the showroom of Boulevard Customs, a division of The duPont Registry. This original painting looks great on its own but for players, they may choose to have another matching painting of their player number that would hang next to the logo art.

New artwork for Abstract series by Tim Raines

Here are two new works, one was a commission that went to a couple in Austin. The other is headed to a prominent Sarasota Gallery on Palm Avenue today for a review by the owner. I have not decided whether or not to accept the offer of representation, I have another gallery locally interested and meeting them on April 21, my mothers birthday.

Video of New Artwork by Tim Raines

Here is a video and a song that seems right for my style - "Life By the Drop" by Stevie Ray Vaughn. This work is for Mote Aquarium in Sarasota, FL. It is one of my new favorites, you will certainly see more "sea" paintings in the near future!
